Scotland

I'll be off up to Scotland tomorrow, for a couple of weeks holiday, to a nice looking place between the Isle of Skye and the Eileen Donan castle.

Obviously I'll be bringing my photography equipment, and hopefully taking some nice pictures.

Bye for now.

Let There Be Light...

Hello. With this being my first post of my new weblog, I thought it would be nice to introduce myself to those that don't know me. My name is Peter and my interests include: computing; photography; fantasy & sci-fi; quantum theory; religion; mythology; languages; and more.

I currently live and work in South Croydon (UK), developing systems with ColdFusion. I have a BSc in Computer Science and Advanced certification in ColdFusion MX.

Whilst I wont be restricting what I write about, I will be focussing on three main areas...

  • I'll be showing photographs that I take, asking opinions, discussing digital processing, etc.
  • I recently bought a MacBook Pro and as I explore OS X I'll be giving my thoughts - from the point of view of someone who has been a daily Windows user since 1993.
  • And last but certainly not least, I'll be writing about web development - programming techniques, ColdFusion tips, semantic coding, web standards, and more.

I hope you enjoy reading my 'blog - feel free to give feedback on any entry.
