CFDevCon 2008 is a UK-based ColdFusion and web development conference, being held this September down in Brighton.
Whilst ColdFusion and CFML are the focus of the conference, the organisers are keen to also cover complementary web development subjects, and there is a good variety of topics on the schedule — with a total of forty-two sessions (excluding keynotes) across the two days and three tracks, there should be plenty to interest any web developer wanting to expand their skills.
I will be speaking at the conference, giving a couple of presentations about Regular Expressions.
The first talk is An Introduction To Regular Expressions, aimed at explaining them to anyone who isn't already comfortable with regex. The second talk is Advanced Regular Expressions, and will cover more complex techniques that even many regular Regular Expression users might be unaware of.
Regular Expressions are very powerful — and not as difficult as many people think — so if you want to learn how to harness their abilities, please do come to cfDevCon and attend my presentations.
